something funny about my US uni appli

I sent a bank draft of value US$80.00 to the collegeboard for the score report to be sent to the unis.

a few days later.. I received the email.. the said tt they received US$71.00.. I was sort of confused.. I mean if I sent the money.. it's qt okie tt some of the money is lost on the way.. but the thing is the demand draft is $80, i really do not understand how the $9 is gone..

another uni sent me an email.. Dear Miss Wang.. Congratulations we have started to process your application. erm.. I was quite happy at first when I saw the congratulations...

okie I got the conclusion that US ppl have weird logic.. Common sense is not so common.

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is:

萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above;

仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family
