hehe museum is a good place..

well.. I am serious.. if you want to enjoy the aircon, come to museum, cos the exhibits in the museum enjoy probably the best aircon in Nanjing.. 24 hours constantly at 24 degrees in some exhibition halls and 16 degrees in the others.. My mum is really happy about my job in the museum, cos it saves a lot on the aircon cost at home..

haha Nanjing Museum is huge.. Currently there are 12 exhibitions going on.. I am working in the collection of clocks section.. 3 halls in total.. what I have to do is to introduce the exhibits one by one to the guests.. hmm sounds boring lah.. but Xuanzhong the powerful panda can make if damn fun.. cos I like to tell stories.. erm.. usually it took my colleagues about 45 minutes to finish all 3 halls, for me.. haha i have to double the time.. so everyday like 2 hours before the closing time, they wont allow me to get into the hall, cos I will juz crap crap crap until they cant go home on time..

-to be continued-

hmm some funny things..

once I was in the exhibition hall with 10++ kids about 10 yrs old.. omg.. they are so annoying.. I have to scream 'no running, no touching' all the time.. then when came to some clock from france, i wanted them to see a golden butterfly at the bottom of the clcok.. but the kids all screamed tt cannot see.. I was qt pissed so i shouted "看不见就跪下来!” actually i meant after kneeling down they will be able to see... but the kids were damn scared lol.. 5 of them kneel downin front of the clock..

and once, some weird old man came with only one question.. where is the winding hole for this clock? for most of the clocks I can tell the position of the winding hole.. but for some clocks.. erm.. they purposely hide the winding hole lol.. so I told the man, it's either at the bottom or inside the clock.. then the old man complained.. “你要是连这个上弦孔都指不出来,我怎么上弦呢?”I replied.. “哦,在皇宫里使用和观赏钟的人是不需要自己上弦的,只要那些专门给钟上弦的太监知道上弦孔在哪里上弦就可以了。”haha i can see the old man's face was twisted..

yea.. show u the most precious exhibit in the whole museum..
南京博物院镇馆之宝——金蝉玉叶 haha actually the thing is smaller than what you can see in the pix.. it is only about 3.4cm long.. damn nice leh..

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is:

萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above;

仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family

My Erhu, My Forever Love
