Chinese New Year =p

Firstly, Happy Chinese New Year to anyone who is reading this blog!

Seriously I cannot feel anything about this Chinese New Year. I do not know since when my CNY has become filled with all the CNY songs (and the famous/infamous 《狮城迎春》) To be honest, I cannot even remember how I had my first 15 CNYs at homoe, I can only remember the tropical sunshine, the repeating melodies everywhere, the oranges... This year is indeed a very unique experience.

I was telling my friend that I was having a real White St. Valentine's Day this year: everywhere is white (that night there was a snowstorm), I was white (after walking in the snow for a few minutes, I became a snowman)...

Oh yea, I told Moon that I think I might get depression seeing the snow everyday. Can you imagine seeing only the white color everyday? At night, it is romantic. I study till very late in the library recently- 1 am to 2 am, and I was locked in on Valentine's Day. When I walk back to my dorm, I love the feeling of stepping on the thick, fresh snow; and when you look back, you can see only line of footprints which belong to you is left behind. It was so beautiful! BUT, when it is sunny, the white snow reflects the sunshine so it is extremely bright outside. I think for those who took psychology or medicine should know that strong light make people feel uneasy. That is what I experienced on my way shopping for CNY this afternoon. I just felt dizzy after 5 minutes of seeing the never-changing scene outside the window (Well, they do change when it is not winter).

Anyway, CNY is something that I am really looking forward to. I was emailing my EECS professor that I want to postpone my second project because it is my CNY, and I am still waiting for the reply. Hehe, but CNY is a good excuse for slacking, and judging from the fact I slept for less than 20 hours in the last one week, I deserve some "entertainment!" I was doing spring cleaning with Moon just now. Now our room looks more organized (and larger), but I was saying, "OMG, I cant believe that it is my room!" haha also we bought some Chinese food for CNY, (and we will be taking part in this cultural cooking competition this Sunday)

Last time I was reading Khoo's blog where she said that she did not believe in New Year Resolutions, neither do I.. Cos they never work for me.. haha no New Year resolution then. But New Year wishes, definitely got a lot...

还有where my heart belongs to 的RJCO和RJCOXYZ,除了祝福和cheesecake,我不知道还能说什么

to all my batchmates

- guys, enjoy your last year in NS(esp Ben Ang), have fun and take really good care of yourself!
- xunqi, joshua and all those in medicine, work hard and take good care of yourself. our lives will be in your hands one day.. (oops, sounds wrong)

to all the J3s

- have faith (in NS, your A'level results, your uni application, and everything!)
- All the best though I know you do not need the luck at all!

-----------------------------------------------------

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is:

萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above;

仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family
