Yeah!

Finished my Linear Algebra exam and Econ 401 exam today! Yeah!

The professor is pretty efficient, the result and final grade for Econ 401 has already been put up, I was quite happy with the grade. Things have been so different: in RJ, I never scored anything higher than a barely B in Econs, but now I am getting a quite high A... One main difference between the Econs taught for A'levels and Econs in university is that the Econs for A'levels focused more on common sense, we need to understand and explain the matter. However, in university, Econs is a matter of quantitative analysis, which means we have to use complicated calculus to explain the common sense stuff. Now when I look back, I think the Econs department in RJ is quite powerful: in the first lecture, I learnt that Economics studys decisions based on the concept of marginal, and in fact, this is the most important idea which linked Econs and Calculus.

I will be doing Econometrics next semester, according to Jim, that is one of the most worth taking course for the Econ major. Sort of looking forward to that.

Okie, one last exam left for this nightmare semester... I swear I will never override again in the future. Taking 19 credits is just beyond my ability and that 19 credits include the EECS(Endless Effort and Condemned Social life) course which I was forced to take and the stupid Daoism, and the so called hardest course in UMich- Econ 401... Anyway, I am surviving sia? I do feel great about that!

But this semester is not that bad, at least I really enjoyed my Linear Algebra class. Prof Rooney is really entertaining, and he is really a very good teacher, a teacher like Ms Wang who can inspire her student to go in further in the field. And the more I learnt, the more I could appreciate Mdm Teng and Ms Wang, for their two years torture~ hehe

一個人在美國,什么地方都注意點。尤其是最近發生的槍擊案,也是挺恐怖的。交朋友要慎重,不要把每個人都想的太美好。

安全第一,學習第二。照顧好自己~!

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is:

萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above;

仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family
