Well, something funny first...
I was walking home after work today. On my way back, I saw four or five ducks blocking my way--I was walking along the high way, so I can't take another route. What really made me laugh was that all the ducks were running in circle while keep flapping their wings. It was really cute cos I did not understand what they were trying to do. To my surprise, they took off after a short while--I did not know that ducks can fly before that. That was not the point, it seemed that the ducks were trying to crossed the road. It seemed that flying across is not a bad idea, it seemed working... But, ducks can't fly high enough or long enough, esp those ducks in Ann Arbor which has been fed well. They all landed in the middle of the high way. All the poor ducks started to running in circles again- flapping their wings of course, trying to take off for another time. Then there was this bus coming in full velocity, luckily the bus driver managed an emergency stop right in front of the ducks(otherwise I might have roasted duck for dinner tonight). The ducks were so scared that they ran back to the side of the road where I was standing. I just cannot stop laughing when I saw this. haha it really made my day. ps: I started to think that descriptive statistics sometimes has more application significance than statistical analysis. Sigh... pss: Will be going to Chicago on Thursday night and back on Sat for the EURO08 final on Sunday. LOL I hate Monday btw.. |

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is: 萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above; 仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family 弦弦诉人意,弓弓道世情
