All the interns had a chat with the director of SRC earlier today. I wasn't very good at asking questions, so I had to throw in all the blunt ones... Sigh...
Look at what I asked: How to make myself more prepared as a social science researcher? Now I feel more like a mere consumer in both economics and statistics, what is the pathway of changing one consumer into a producer? Duhh... I think I am really a boring person... In today's class, the instructor asked us just to share what was going through our mind as a form of self introduction. Here goes all the common answers.. Thinking of my BMI.. Oh man, AA is fattening, I know that and I have been here so long that I can't be bother to watch my BMI anymore... Thinking of home, and home food.. Sigh, AA has been like my home for two years, and now when I say I miss home, it's a mixture of missing Nanjing and Singapore... Thinking of dinner tonight.. That was pretty common, haha I was thinking about that too... Thinking of skipping class tomorrow.. I was so surprised that this idea did not even came out in my mind. Does that mean I am really a good student now? Sigh But when the instructor called my name like "shawn ron", I said "I am thinking how you are going to pronounce my name, and it's not my fault of having a so damn bloody hard name..." dots... I am bored... ps: Tiger baseball game tomorrow! Yay! |

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is: 萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above; 仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family 弦弦诉人意,弓弓道世情
