Graduation Photos

Finally I have all the graduation photos arranged... I am not going to post all photos cos I know many of them will lead to questions about my sanity, so I am not going to give anyone such an opportunity.

As one of my friends noted, the moment we walked into the Big House, all the struggles and sleepless nights seemed worthwhile. I have never been more grateful.

I was walking around proudly in my gown and honors cords that day and I posed for photos almost everywhere.

See, I was posing for photos again!

One of the many libraries that has endless shelves of books that I have never read. But I do like the smell of dusty old books, that made me sort of willing to read. =)

This is my favorite reading room in the grad library.
So sad I can never be a grad student here at Michigan, but I will remember this moment!

=============================================

Photobucket

The law quad, I love the building so I pretend that I was a law student.

=============================================

Photobucket

Someone even thought that I was a law graduate... Oh man, can't you see how plain my gown was!

=============================================

My favorite heartshape flower!

With Daddy and Mommy before the honors commencement.

With my newly acquired honors degree cord. YAY!

=============================================

One important thing about commencements is reception. I love the food!

This cute little thing was welcoming my parents when we visited the Statitics department.

=============================================

Getting outstanding undergrad student award in the stat department.

=============================================

Photobucket

Pretending that I was still calm like a statistician when I was announced high honors in statistics. Think I will be forgiven for feeling really good about the things that my advisor said about me! =)

Economics commencement.

High honors in economics, YAY!!

Get Economics certificate from my advisor.

Dad and Mom were overjoyed after the economics commencement! Esp Dad, he wore my cap though he refused to wear my gown, cos he said "Too embarrassing"

In front of the Rackham before Economics commencement.
Our S02 Gang.
From Left: Yundi, Xuanzhong, Yue and Weijie. It was pretty sad that Yunyuan was not there.
We were high school classmates, but the guys spent two years in Army and ended up being a freshman while the gals celebrate graduation! I am feeling super good!

Guess all three of us have small eyes..

=============================================

I was still sleepy when I arrived at the Big House on the Big Day, and I found so many people there already!

=============================================

Photobucket

Daddy and Mommy arrived early too!

=============================================

The Big House when it was filled with parents.

Finally, moving my tassel to the other side...

=============================================

Photobucket

Mom was happy, and so was I.

=============================================

Photobucket

Dad was happy too!

One last picture in front of the school name. Seems the wind got all!

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is:

萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above;

仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family
