Graduation

It has been a very emotinal two days back in Ann Arbor. I was running from one reception to another, ceremonies to commencements on Friday and went to the magnificant Spring Commencement at the Big House yeterday.

The commencement thing meant a lot more to me than to those who are staying in Michigan--I am going to Wisconsin Madison, a big ten rival for PhD! (Of course I am not insane enough to go to OSU)

When I came to Michigan in 2006, all I asked was love the school and learn something I love; and when I walked into the Big House in my graduation gown and cap, the golden tassel for B.S., and two honors cords that I earned, I just felt so lucky--cos I know not many people can get what they want in life, leaving alone the fact that I got things that I did not even asked for.

It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine!

Thanks to all my family, professors, instructors and friends!

I love you all!

Hi Xuanzhong,

Your pictures bring back so many memories of my two years in Michigan. I recall the day of my graduation, also very emotional! I agree with your last paragraph, we are lucky for being Michigan Wolverines!

ps. Ann Arbor looks so pretty with all those flowers this time of the year.

ps2. You look a lot like your mom :-)

People have asked me why my name is so damn bloody hard to pronounce, I would say it's not my problem. Just in case anyone who is interested to find out what the name actually means, here it is:

萱 pronounces as xuan, is the flower called daylily pictured above;

仲 pronounces as zhong, means I am the second child in the family
